What a year 2019 has been! It was the year that Wildfire Arts Marketing was born out of a lifetime's passion for theatre and the creative arts and from my background of more than 20 years in the field of arts marketing.
I started off 2019 with the knowledge that I would be providing marketing & PR for the national tour of Once Upon A Princess for OCD Productions UK - and from there it all snowballed.
The summer saw me working with the lovely folks at Dramatic Productions for their Summer Rep season at the Tivoli Theatre in Wimborne, and from there I was invited to work with Project Play, an exciting community theatre initiative, on PR for their 2020 productions of Dad's Army across the south. We achieved some fantastic radio and press coverage for their community auditions and script read-throughs.
Throughout the year I have also had loads of fun with Stagewise Performing Arts, one of the loveliest theatre schools around, whose inclusive and nurturing approach offers the most amazing training ground for theatre-mad youngsters. Their summer production of Seussical Jr at Lighthouse in Poole was an absolute joy and packed with tremendously talented performers. I'm currently working with Stagewise on some repositioning and rebranding work for their 20th anniversary in 2020.
In December Once A Princess had a shake-up for the festive season, and enjoyed three packed out performances of its Christmas Special back here in Dorset.
To put the icing on the cake, OCD Productions have just announced that they will be producing a season of pantomime at the Barrington Theatre in Ferndown next year, and I'm excited to be working with them again alongside additional tour dates for Once Upon A Princess throughout the year.
2019 has been amazing - I can't wait to see what 2020 brings! You can keep up to date on my latest news by following me on Facebook and Instagram.
Wishing you all a very happy, peaceful and creative New Year!
